Eating right when you have diabetes isn’t just about cutting sugar—it’s about creating a balanced plate that fuels your body while keeping blood sugar stable.

So how do you build a perfect diabetic-friendly plate? Let’s break it down.


✅ Step 1: Fill Half the Plate with Fiber-Rich Veggies

Choose:

  • Green leafy vegetables (spinach, methi, cabbage)

  • Bottle gourd (lauki), ridge gourd (tori), bitter gourd (karela)

  • Carrots, beans, cauliflower

Why?
These are low in carbs, high in fiber, and packed with antioxidants. They support digestion and slow down sugar absorption.


🍽️ Step 2: Add 1 Serving of Whole Grain – Choose Wisely

Skip maida or polished rice. Instead, use:

  • 2 rotis made with Atta Ghar Diabetic Atta
